Hawk Helps' Season of Giving is our annual program designed to support families in need during the holiday season. It began with a simple mission: to ensure that families could provide gifts for their children without the added burden of choosing between presents and paying regular bills. We encourage the community to nominate deserving families in the CSRA who could use a helping hand. Selected families will receive assistance to help make their holidays a little brighter.
While we'd love to fulfill every request, our program is guided by specific limits to ensure we stay true to our original mission. Below, we’ve outlined the types of support provided for those selected by Hawk Helps.
We recommend 3-4 suggestions per child ages 0 - 17 years old
e.g. socks, underwear, t-shirts, shorts/pants
e.g. coats, hats, gloves, scarves
e.g. hygiene products, bedding, linens, small kitchen appliances
Additionally, we allow one big-ticket item per household, valued up to $500. Please note that this item is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. Our support is designed to help families celebrate the holiday season with joy and dignity. Once a family is selected, a dedicated Hawk Helper will reach out to gather detailed information to ensure the gifts are customized and personal to the family’s needs.
e.g. Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, laptop, tablets, etc.
e.g. gas, water, electricity, cell phone
Due to the high volume of requests, any wishlists that do not follow our guidelines will be automatically declined.
